UPDATE: So when things go wrong… The lights on my van are out and my MS is getting worse. When I say my MS is getting worse I mean I’ll be typing and my left thumb start wagging and as I try to control it my whole hand starts then my arm etc. I have to stop to avoid too many spaces appearing in my text. I have had small tremors since I was in my 40s but could always control them. Now my left leg has micro tremors that feel like vibrations coming up from the earth. The fascinating thing is when I am hiking on uneven trails my leg does not bother me. My brain sees the terrain and I am agile leaping about. On flat surfaces like sidewalk my left leg feels heavy like I am pulling it along. I have discovered a morning routine (about an hour or more) of yoga stretches, Qigong, Tai Chi followed by a free wight routine gets me through my day. Replacing my camera seems further away.
I am balanced on the edge of hoping someone will read this and the dread that someone might.
It has taken me 2 days to work up the courage to announce I Need Help…… Three words that have made me feel shame, fear, embarrassment and defeat. We are poorer than some richer than others. If we can’t afford it we don’t buy it. The vicious cycle of debt is always something we avoid. My beloved husband is disabled (congestive heart decease, diabetes, high blood pressure, vegus nerve implant and he recently learned he is autistic) but we are blessed everything is under control via healthy vegan diet, medication and exercise (hiking). I am lucky to be healthy as this allows me to be a health advocate for my beloved husband.
For the past year I have been slowly using youtube videos to diagnose and repair my 1997 160,000+ miles Chrysler van. I am proud to announce that on March 27th, 2019 I turned the key and the joyous sound of the engine turning over occurred. I was very happy and suddenly felt an overwhelming success. My personal health regime is hiking and photography hikeourplanet.com. These two combined help me weather the man storms of life. A working vehicle meant we could go further afield to hike and capture Natures beauty. It was a exciting day!
Life is always a delicate balancing act and within a few hours the price for a working vehicle was revealed. As I focused on a spectacular wildflower and pressed down to take the shot a horrific thunk sound emerged from my camera. I knew the sound as it had happened once before. My camera is nearly 10 years old and had been previously repaired. I did some quick math and of course my extended warranty was long expired. It meant I no longer had a working camera. Photography is for me one of my senses. A reflection of how my soul sees the world. I finished our hike in a fog of despair knowing it would take at least 18 months like 24 to save a enough for a replacement.
I Need Help…
Can you help me get another Sony alpha slt-a55 camera (my lenses only fit the slt-a55 a65 a77 etc. series camera) and the a55 is the least expensive in the series. I am good at promoting products/businesses (vegan friendly no animal products) on Social Media and wondered if a barter could be made. Camera replacement for 1 year of daily social media. I have been contracted in the past to promote films, high end skin care, make up and vitamins, vegan health products, hiking gear and snacks, towels, mouth wash, shoe inserts etc. in exchange for products.
If barter is not an option could you please send a donation to help me purchase a new camera via PayPal email address.
Thank you for taking the time to read my plea.
Kindest Thoughts and Wishes,
Lee
